Convenient compact recorder. Great for whatever you need it for. It was easy to set up and use. Clearly records voices. Voice activation so only records when needed so the battery lasts a while. Love that it's so small and sleek and magnetic so super easy to use it discreetly if necessary

Let me tell you when I say I don't really write reviews I really don't but this voice recorder was the best thing that happened to me I listened to everything crystal clear the recorder IS SO TINY and small you can put it anywhere and it not be noticeable I love you I am very happy with my decision.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this voice recorder, but I was impressed! This is a super small recorder that is only about 1/4 of an inch thick! It's super sleek and the bottom has a nice magnet. This recorder is unobtrusive and no microphone holes are visible anywhere on it. It has a great battery life and has a ton of recording time on it. I've recorded at least 10hrs of meetings and I still have a ton of room left. You can easily find your recorded files online and simply listen to them as you would any MP3 or audio file.PROS:â€¢ Super small and easy to carry aroundâ€¢ The microphone is sensitive so it will pick up sounds several feet awayâ€¢ It turns off and on quietlyâ€¢ The bottom part of the recorder is magneticâ€¢ Can easily access and copy recorded files on your computerâ€¢ The sound quality is good and clear, not a lot of background interferenceCONS/RECOMMENDATIONS:â€¢ The headphones it comes with is a nice perk, but they are sort of cheapOverall, this gadget is impressive and I would highly recommend it to anyone! There is nothing to dislike about this recorder. Almost 2 inches across, thin and magnetic with a 70 hour battery- very hard to beat and still remain this affordable. I compared this to another very similar recorder and this product is my favorite. Pretty quick voice activation and sensitivity. I was able to clearly record every conversation in the room at a recent party. Conversations were cleanly recorded at a distance of 30 feet. The other recorder could pick up whispers where this one couldn't. With this device, it was clear something was being said but this recorder couldn't clearly pick up the sound- that's not all bad. While the other device was able to clearly record whispers it was not able to filter cleanly through the noise of multiple loud conversations, or when laughter was present. This is a very well rounded recorder and it is the one I prefer to use for most situations. I read a review that claimed the magnet wasn't very strong but that doesn't describe mine at all. I attached it to the bottom of a metal desk and it was EXTREMELY secure! It's easy to use with either a MAC or WINDOWS. Plug it in with the USB cable to charge the battery. Also to down load recordings. Files are accessed the same as if it was a Flash Drive. Every time the device is turned on a time stamped file is created and it records until it is shut off. I like it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Before I get started, however, it should be noted that you have to be REALLY careful where and how you use this. I highly urge you to review both federal and state laws regarding any legal and liability issues, especially if you plan to use what you may find against anyone.I placed mine inside our home to protect a vulnerable family member from someone we thought may have been taking advantage of them, or trying to. Our suspicions were confirmed, which was all we were looking to accomplish. We had a security camera by the front door a while back, which is now used as a dummy, but still have signs posted notifying people there are cameras in use. While our state has strict privacy laws, there seems to be a bit of a gray area when it comes to home security. Either way, I always to err on the side of caution to be safe.I really like that it starts recording once audio is detected, so you don't have to fast forward through hours of silence/empty footage to get what you need. It often didn't pick up the first word or two of a sentence, as others had also noted, but I could still understand everything and didn't find that to be a big deal.This little thing holds A LOT - 800 hours of audio. I thought that was impressive for the price and size. Not to mention, you aren't overloading it with unnecessary recordings. The sound quality was very good, better than I expected anyway. The setup was easy and I found the instruction video to be helpful. Oh, and the magnet is pretty strong. You can stick this right to a picture on your fridge and no one will notice. I posted a picture of this next to a half dollar to give you an idea. In another picture, you can see how well it blends in with my two other black, round magnets. Hidden in plain sight! As I said, this worked perfectly for our needs and was able to offer us some peace of mind.

This is a great recorder. It has the necessary features, you can save your files as a .wav for Windows format or .mp3 for everything. The process of simply changing a text file for the settings is great. I set mine for continuous recording in the .mp3 format. The recording quality is great and the design is futuristic. I simply dropped it in my shirt pocket and it clearly recorded every aspect of my discussion and negotiation with a salesman. You can hold it in your hand even or sit it down next to your phone and no one will even notice it. The battery last and last while the recording capacity is more than sufficient.

While I haven't used this extensively yet, I have tested it out to ensure it would work well when needed. It works exactly as it says it does. It makes clear, crisp recordings and you can use it for just about anything. I would caution you to check your states laws before recording anyone without their knowledge if you are using this in a work setting, etc. but otherwise, just record away! The storage capacity is huge for such a small device. And it's not obvious at all so no one would realize what it was if you didn't tell them. If you're looking for a recording device for any reason, I recommend this highly!

This is a fun little voice activated voice recorder. The quality - as long as it's not in a pocket or somewhere else picking up a lot of movement, is fantastic, it picks up voices from across the room with ease, and even into the next room in my house. The magnet on the back is strong enough that it will hold to surfaces if not bumped, but I would not rely on it to stay attached to moving objects or in locations it may get touched.Overall this device works exactly as advertised and I think it will be very useful for recording interviews for my dissertation without having intrusive recording devices laying around.

a voice activated recorder that actually works? This is dangerous, af. But it works and scretes you used to have wont be secret anymore the speakers on this is excellent so is the battery life. This is a must buy for the price works as advertised lets just say leaving this on will answer any questions you may have about people.

I really like this voice recorder it's small and easy to transport. It's also easy to use and comes with all the necessary chords to plug it in and download your voice recording. It also comes with a headset and speaker overall very cool little product.

I haven't had a voice recorder in ages and dang they have come a long way. This is so small I feel like a spy. The video was very helpful and all in all the tech support behind the brand seems phenomenal if needed. The recordings I made were all better sound quality than expected. I love that it came with ear buds for listening as well. Just well thought out in so many ways. This is a great option for whatever you need to record.

A nice recorder that picks up when somebody is talking, or a noise is picked up. It is magnetic so you could slap it on anything that a fridge magnet would go on. Cool!
