This is a very good tool to measure the air quality of the home. Highly recommend a cost-effective to get air quality results quickly and effectively.
Kenney C.
I bought this to confirm my air purifier was working as advertised. The CO2 readings were showing high and I realized being in a room with closed doors/windows had a big effect and air purifiers even with pounds of activated carbon filters had no effect. The readings seemed pretty accurate as going outside would drop the CO2 levels significantly. The battery life seems good so far. Nice display. The AQI smiley face moves from left to right.
Dave
Gives a nice glimpse into what is happening with the air in my house.
Rick
Basic air quality measurements without need for app or regular battery switching. Lacks CO.
Anne R H
So far it's working as advertised and easy to use! It's only day one so I will update if things change!
Brett
So far it has performed very well. Very nice display.

I am using this to monitor the indoor air quality at home. It appears to be a high quality unit that provides a good mix of measurements that relate to air quality.

Helped track down an air quality problem in my bedroom. Was feeling 'off' after sleeping half the night.Tested myself, blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. everything was normal.Still kept feeling 'off' early mornings so I ordered the 9 in 1 K1000 and found 3 readings were high in my bedroom. TVOC PM2.5 PM10Thoroughly cleaned the bedroom, bought a premium allergy mattress cover (zipped enclosure) to cover my premium foam mattress (and foam pillow allergy covers), and all AirKnight readings have been low to normal since. All my early morning unwell feelings have disappeared. Thanks AirKnight!
Ben
We received our first AirKnight monitor and it was consistently reading 14/17 ug/m3 for PM2.5 and PM10, respectively. Not a huge issue, but annoying enough that we reached out to the company. They were extremely responsive and very quickly shipped us a replacement unit. The new unit is more accurate, but now reads 3/4/5 ug/m3 as a baseline reading, even when sitting in the exhaust stream of a hospital grade HEPA filter (where other sensors will read 0 consistently). It's even less of an issue now, but mentally it would be much more pleasing from a user's perspective if 0/1 were the baseline reading. Other readings seem more accurate in comparison w/ other sensors I use. Battery life is also a bit shorter than I had hoped, but admittedly my expectations might be a little high there. It can run for a couple of hours no problem, which should be more than enough for most real-time monitoring needs, but not enough to, for instance, take it traveling w/o having to constantly recharge it. Would be nice to have the option to use AA batteries or removable rechargeable batteries in case you have a remote monitoring need where charging is not practical.

Gives some peace-of-mind about the air quality in our living area.
Michael McGuire
Best monitor that shows all the readings I need! Learned that we need to really use the exhaust fan when cooking!
G. Houda
Nice looking unit and display.Just open the box, started charging, set time, F and CO2 alarm to on.Now just waiting to check readings over several days and move around to other rooms in my home.
anonymous
Really easy to read, I got it to see the co2 levels from propane stove. It caps at 5000 but since that's a really bad level anyway we know we need to open some windows. Also it turns off after 12 hours to reset the sensors. Takes 5 min after turning back on to be accurate. Has a little smiley face that changes when particles get worse. Has become a permanent, fixture and would buy again
TheH
Headline says it all. TVOC readings are also a bit suspect.
Ben
This device is easy to use and clearly shows the levels of contaminants.

All the above

Super fast delivery. Very easy to install. It came with full charge. It took a few minutes to settle after turning on. The AQI reading was an eye opener. We use incense sticks at home. We never realized we were polluting ourselves so much. It is making us think how to go about doing it.
Lisa Sands
Set this up on my desk at work. Love it!!
tony
It provided the information that I needed in a clear method

The monitor is easy to read and the manual explains the norms of the varius readings. It's portable so you can move it to other rooms to monitor the air. I often get air quality alerts from the local weather service and this will help me understand if I need to be concerned.
Tony M.
This unit has been giving me the answers I want to regarding air quality etc.
I rely on it daily and it has been more than helpful in my endeavors.
Sandra
Used to check the air quality in our home.
Fufu23
I think I really like everything about it but the only thing i dont like is that i have to turned it on every 8-10 hours. Autoshut is not good.
Karudad
Easy to read and accurate
Penny M.
to use this is a good way to find out what your air quality is in your home. It's easy to read but sometimes hard to understand the readings. But overall, it is a good machine to have for a peace of mind.
Bparker8140
The AirKnight works as advertise.
PC
Accurate readings, easy to see and read plus small enough to place on table without being so noticable.
FranC
I don't keep it on 24/7. I just turn it on when I want to check the air quality. It seems to work very well and the little icons telling you that overall your air quality is good ----- or less than good are very helpful. I'm glad I spent a little extra to get this item. I think it's worth it, and it's very easy to see.
Claus Jensen
The 9 in 1 is really easy to use and includes all the key measurements. It's compact and can be moved around and placed wherever you need it.
Steve K
This is a nice little unit. Worked perfectly right out if the box. After setting the time and activating CO2 alarm, the unit was ready to go. Very satisfied and ads peace of mind for air quality in our home.
Steve Nowicki
Works as intended and looks very nice.
R. Nelson
This seems to work well enough, but the included too many digits on many of their readings. The readings on the lowest didgets of the formaldehyde, VOC and PPMs are continually fluctuating. If they just showed one less decimal place and PPMs to the nearest 5 or 10, it would be more stable without losing useful information.
J. Manning
Amazing little device that does exactly what it says! After the initial calibration, I discovered that the CO2 levels in my home were about 6 times what they should be! I was able to get some window fans to improve the air circulation in my home, and bam, when right down to normal range in about a day.My only complaint (which might be correctable in the settings, I'm not sure yet) is that it seems to automatically shut off after a few hours. Aside from that, a cool little device if you care about what you are breathing!

Item feels quality. Good heft. I thought the temperature might be inaccurate at first but it just takes time to get enough samples to read right. It samples every 1-2 seconds. Works as a stand alone offline product. That is a fantastic feature. At first I thought it didn't come with a charger but it was just under the tray. Item did reveal I need more houseplants lol. No complaints. Would recommend to a friend. Probably the best value for the dollar on Indoor Air Quality Monitors right now.
K.P. S.
I use it in the kitchen to understand how cooking affects air quality.
Kevin T.
Versatile air quality monitoring system. Hard to determine when a specific sensor monitor has hit an unsafe or unrecommended level, though there is a general air quality index which is helpful. I don't have the system running all the time but only when I'm cooking. A few modifications would be useful: 1) allow the user to set alarms or flags when a specific sensor has reached a specified threshold; 2) allow the user to adjust the refresh rate of the sensors, which could possibly prolong battery.
Heather
I purchased 2 of these and the readings for CO2 we're about 200-300 ppm different. I worked with a very helpful rep of the company and he sent a 3rd device so I could see if I had a defective one.Even with the 3 devices, they were all reading differently. He suggested I reset all of them and try them outside. The outside readings were nearly identical! The rep said: "Looks like there are no issues at all. As for the inside readings, I can see that the two monitors are having comparable readings aside from the fact that all three monitors are still within the "Good" range. At this point, we could say that those are really the readings inside your room." We were able to determine that one device was a bit off and I'll be sending that one back to the company.I was impressed with how quickly I was getting replies and the level of concern I was shown.
Casey
Works great, love having it in my home, knowing the quality of my air!
ChuckG
It's easy to use and it doesn't need to run all the time. It shuts off after 11 hours for recalibration. I discovered I need to crack a window in my bedroom as the Co2 level was slightly high. I'm glad I bought it.
Zane Morris
I have a gas wall heater in my office that is unvented. It is rated safe by the manufacturer but it would trigger my CO fire detectors (which I disconnected but it worried me). Sometimes I would get very tired and nearly fall asleep after several hours. I purchased the AirKnight to report the office air quality while using this gas heater. It has worked like a charm and reported CO2 concentrations of 3-5000 ppm (5000 is the OSHA legal limit). So I keep my door cracked and this reduces CO2 to ~1500 ppm while still maintaining the room temperature. The reads outs are clear and turn off at night. One small thing is the AQI smiley face did not pout when I hit 5000 ppm CO2. I plan to use the AirKnight up at Lake Tahoe this summer when the wildfires return.
LS
So far so good. Packaged beautifully. Excellent instructions & information; easy to setup, read and understand. It looks nice, not cheap or flimsy. Every home should have one.

Does what I needed it yoo
Ramona Dent
Really like this unit to check on all the areas for any air quality! Only wish would be that it could also measure nitrogen dioxide.
Philip M. Manfre
Easy to set up. Large easy to read display. Clear instructions. Provides readings for multiple air quality indicators.
Snow Dog Dad
This has nice form factor. I question the accuracy on some of the numbers such as the PM2.5 and PM10 since I had this sitting right next to another (more expensive) air quality monitor and the numbers were off quite a bit.My biggest complaint with this air quality monitor is that it turns off after 11 hours. I want it to be on all the time, rather than having to turn it back on every day. The explanation is that they want to save battery power. However, I have it plugged in to a USB charger all the time so I'm not using the batteries. I really dislike returning things but I am returning it for a refund.
Steve G.
Thanks for alerting me to potential hazards in my home, helping me to understand the issues and where to find and eliminate the culprits

Display is very easy to read!
Steven Galarza
I was able to use this in various rooms in my house and every sensor reading seems accurate. In one problematic room where I had a high count of particulate matter I ended up using an air filter and after an hour the sensors reflected the decrease in matter! Overall, I do recommend this if you want to be more aware about the air quality in your house.
Tyler W.
It is easy to read. I wish is had Bluetooth and and app like the air quality monitor that works with Alexa so that I can monitor trends. It seems very sensitive to particulates from my gas stove when I am cooking.
N6AC
This device seems solid and trustworthy. Readings, including response to cooking and breath, seem appropriate. The multiple sensors appear to behave as we would expect, with one concern that CO2 seems overly damped but eventually responding. The AQI display of colorless happy/sad faces seems less desirable than would be potential use of the multi-colored decorative bar. Temperature reads a few degrees low compared to our other nearby devices. We wish the clock were 24-hour. But temp and time are not the reason we bought this. The manual is quite clear and reasonably complete. The battery charge indicator shows multiple bars, so gives a qualitative idea of status. We let the unit run for a total of about 6 hours, and still had 2 of 4 bars. Charger and cord are included. All in all, we are satisfied so far.
Anna
Measurements for Formaldehyde and VOCs differ as much as 10X in the same room under the same conditions on different days after the unit has been turned off and then back on. Measurements in a new build with horrendous offgassing that gave me symptoms were exactly the same as the lower 1/10th measurement in the clean apartment. Clearly inaccurate and will be going back. Not paying $100+ for a fancy temperature, humidity and CO2 meter.
A. Porter
After sitting next to each other for about an hour I started to wonder which one was right if in fact either were. I'm now filled with regret, sadness, and possibly unsafe levels of various "measurable" air particles. I would not recommend this product to you or anyone who is susceptible to paranoia.

Great product! Exactly what I was looking for.

The other day we put a piece of bread near the monitor and it just went up so high on the TVOC's it actually hit 9.999. Took the bread away and it slowly came down. I wonder if anyone knows why that happened.

Easy to read display.

Easy to read display. Peace of mind to know the air quality of my home and how to improve.

I got this to monitor air quality after multiple years of wildfire smoke AND the occasional inundation of cigarette smoke that seems to give me a headache, wake me up at night: is someone smoking under one of my windows????In the 2 months that I've owned it, I seem to have a constant or very small range of readings in my house--kitchen, den, bedroom. Or even outdoors:Humidity 52%TVOC 0. 001 to 0.130 mg/m3HCHO 0.001 mg/m3PM2.5 14 or 15 ug/m3PM10 18 or 19 ug/m3CO2 420 to 637 ppmNot much variance, even if I take it outdoors. The one place I haven't taken it is into my car.The battery will keep a charge for less than a day if it is not plugged into a charger. It is a dickens to set the time in any event it loses a charge completely (I cannot do this with the 3 buttons that it has.)The bottom of the device has a chart for good/acceptable/unhealthy/dangerous ranges for each measurement. Even the cold weather didn't affect the indoor humidity that much, and even outdoors, the CO2 levels are within the range I shared above.A Q code and URL on the bottom connect to the User Guide. Setting the clock is hard to remember (probably because I bought more than one electronic device with a button sequence to set time/date), but the range within my home doesn't vary much at all. When you turn it on, the display stays active for 11 hours. This is far too bright for the bedroom at night. I have not figured out how to turn the lights off, unless it's been charging for more than 11 hours. It comes with a USB cord (3ft) but not with an adapter plug--the instructions tell you to use only an adapter within a specific range. It comes with a short 3 foot USB cable, no plug/adapter.

I'm not well versed in Air Quality Monitors but i've always been interested in gadgets that give you real time information. this went on sale and it's been sitting in my cart forever so i figured i would give it a try. the information seems to be accurate and setup was easy and the instructions seemed easy to understand.I've only had it for a day but the battery life seems to be ok. i got it and charged it for a hour and then let it it run all night and it was pretty much dead by the morning. it does turn off periodically to preserve battery. all and all i like it.my only small complaint i had was the top of the machine was slightly scratched up a bit (see picture). while i'm sure this is only cosmetic and usually i would not care but i did spend a little more money on this then usual.
Lori M.
Knowing these readings can help people understand how safe their house is. We are happy that we have this machine, which showed our carbon dioxide was high. I thought the dust mites were the cause of our coughing and sneezing, but I found out that was not true.
Mr Mike
This 9-in-1 unit has a really nice looking, active display. The build seems sturdy, and the design has a nice sleekness to it (to my eye). Most importantly, the readouts seem accurate; some of them I can compare to other devices I have (for temperature, humidity), and those tend to agree. The air quality and content readouts seem to make sense for the area in my house where I have it plugged in. And it always appears to be actively sensing and reporting in real-time, which is exactly what I want: a responsive device. The support team is also very responsive and helpful. AirKnight is clearly a very customer-focused company, and this customer is pleased, indeed :)
Momma Bear
Love this monitor, works great. Restarts every night and recalibrates. Husband was working in the garage with his propane tank and it was picking up the garage reading. Seems accurate for everything I am monitoring.
Jim P.
Alarm goes off without reason and there's no way to shut it off.

Such inaccurate values! Completely useless!
Emily F. Adams
I'm very happy with my Air Knight. Even happier recently when I discovered the "optimal" ratings were on a sticker on the bottom of it, so I didn't have to dig out the manual!I haven't put it through rigorous testing, yet, but I did notice that the CO2 reading was in the high 600s in the living room yesterday, and I opened two windows for 20 minutes and the reading dropped to the 400s. I never would have known that CO2 was building up inside the house in any measurable way, if it weren't for my AirKnight. The other readings were very good, as I pretty much expected, but it was reassuring to see actual measurements.
David L. Drown Jr.
I loved this comprehensive air quality tool. It has more measurements than any other brand I have found and looks quite sharp. I returned the first one I bought because the clock would completely loose the time once or twice a week, even when left plugged in with a full battery charge. The replacement I received does the exact same thing!
Frankie
After a decade of chronic illness, and finally a diagnosis of exposure to toxic mold, I am in the healing process. I was SO worried about getting re-exposed to chemicals/mold, etc. But I had no idea I could afford to purchase a monitor that measures indoor air quality. I did extensive research on products and brands. And I have not been disappointed with AirKnight!
I have peace of mind for the first time in years that I know the air quality of my surroundings. My car is testing safe, every area of my home is safe, my local library and grocery store are testing good too. I took it to my folks house and the VOCs and CO2 were super high. It turns out they have water damage from tree roots. They would have never known! This monitor goes with me everywhere now!
Laurie
Works well
jacob hernandez
Easy to read, Detected everything I was looking for, American made, not too expensive, seemed highly accurate; blew out a candle next to it and got immediate readings. checks all my boxes
S. Chester
No weird apps or prolonged wait times. Plug it in, calibrate it outdoors (5 minutes) and you get a readout
of indoor air quality. It verified my concern over outgassing from newly installed window. The manufacturer cites accuracy in a confidence inspiring way and the numbers are consistent. Engineered (not built) in USA but that is a unique thing in todays market. Highly, highly recommended. Now what to about my burning eyes and sore throat.
Skedgy Sky
I love so many things about it, but one terrible thing is that something is wrong with the PM sensor on my unit. I have multiple air quality meters, and using a 99.9% efficiency filter near the monitor I can make my monitors read almost 0 ug/m. However, the air Knight gets stuck at 15 to 20ug/m and I've never seen it go lower. The reading just isn't accurate and you can't trust it when every other meter I have goes to the single digits using HEPA filtration.
Very unfortunate because we buy an air quality meter so that it reads air quality, and it can't even do that consistently. I see some other reviewers got a more accurate unit than me. The booklet says it goes down to 0. My other meters go down to 0. So, what's wrong with this one? Seems like a quality/engineering issue.
stephen
Always showed 70% humidity. Two hygrometers I placed next to this item both showed 56%. This test was done for hours.
Also, battery died within 2 hours of being charged, even with the unit turned off.
Monte F. Hancock Jr.
The unit gives results that are consistent with those measured by a unit I have from another manufacturer. It is very easy to read and use.
J. Miller
Seems fairly accurate and very quick readings. In my quest for finding the best all in one air quality monitor, it's the best I've used so far.
Wish List:
I do wish that the values would change color or had at an indicator as the values get into unhealthy regions. Otherwise you need to either memorize or have the chart handy to reference the values.
It would also be nice if it also measured PM1.0. It does measure PM2.5 and PM10 however.
Is NOT a good option if you want to use in a bedroom as it is vey bright and does not have an option to dim the brightness
Tim Stevenson
Could not figure out what was adding to the air pollution in my home. This gave me the information I needed and aloud me to fix the issue.
Daniel
Seemed to work great. The readings take a bit of time to be accurate. I looked too early and almost panicked, After some time, I noticed the numbers moving to normal levels. Great device for someone who is getting constant unexplainable headaches or feeling sick. You never know what could be floating around your home! The manual made it VERY EASY to see what your numbers should be.
Just Bob
Over the years I have replaced windows and sealed up my house to make it more energy efficient. It also made the carbon dioxide and other levels go up. For the price of having a HVAC expert come in and monitor for a week I was able to purchase this unit and monitor myself. Now I know if I need to open some windows or run some fans.
Pete H.
I had an odd small in my home so I bought this to see if I could narrow it down. I'm disappointed it does not measure natural gas but it does measure many other air quality aspects.
js75016
Humidity reading was very different from my other device. Even two same devices have different reading.
It is easy to read and easy to use just if it was more accurate.

I inadvertently purchased two air purifiers for different rooms in my home that didn't have built-in Air Quality Indicators. Without an AQI, how could I tell if the purifiers were working? I did much research and decided on the AirKnight. I needed it to be easy to use and dependable. Well, it's that and more. It detects the level of particulates in the air, the humidity level, the CO2 level, and formaldehyde levels of the room it's in. It's portable and easy to read on an LCD screen. It's a comfort knowing the status of contaminants in the air and since AQI's can cost up to several hundred dollars, the AirKnight easily fit my budget.
CHARLES PRESTON HARRINGTON
This is an exceptional product from its packaging to its COMPLETE EASE to set up and use!
I had one issue with a beeping noise but I contact the seller and the immediately contacted me back and informed me if any of the settings start rise above normal air quality it will alert you and also you can immediately look at the manual enclosed to see solutions to help you keep your air quality safe! And the solution that was given worked perfectly!
Once again excellent product… excellent customer service and made in the USA!
Steve
Nice air monitor. Clock doesn't work though! Stays stuck at the time you set. Nevertheless, great air monitor.
Molly Wiesner
I purchased an Awair Element about a year ago, but have bought some new furniture recently and was worried about it gassing off formaldehyde as I have heard that's common with new furniture. So, I gave the AirKnight a try. To be fair, we like our Awair, but I wish I would have bought an AirKnight in the first place because, when comparing readings from the Awair vs. the AirKnight, they are very closely correlated. The main differences in terms of readings are that the AirKnight one also gives an HCHO reading and PM10 vs. PM2.5 breakout. The AirKnight big screen makes it all really easy to quickly read too. And it's a way cheaper than the Awair Element.
Jeanna newmerzyckyj
Turned stove on to bake chicken, thirty minutes later I wasn't feeling well. My husband noticed that the air knight picked up on high co 2 levels. I have not been feeling well every time I used this stove for the last five years. I was never sure why. I thought it was just me. Comes to find out our stove has been producing large amounts of CO2, everytime we use it. This device has been such a life saver, because honestly I was at my wits end, trying to figure out why me and my family would get so sick and it was only when stove was in use. Would buy again and strongly advise others to buy.
mima
I followed all of the (very easy) directions in both the booklet & the video. The screen stays lit as long as I keep my finger on the power button. As soon as I remove my finger, the screen goes black & stays that way. I'm sending the item back.

Product came beautifully packaged and was ready to go right out of the box. No need to charge or connect an app. Just hit the power button and it gets to work reading your air quality. It's also small enough to fit anywhere or travel along with you. I plan to use it in my camper to ensure good air quality in such a small space.
Unlike many products, the included guide was actually in clear English and very helpful. The guide includes descriptions, possible causes for high readings, and improvements for each harmful thing that is being tracked in the air. It's pretty incredible how much this little box (and the guide) will tell you about what you're breathing. Recommended if you're looking for a great, clearly American made product to help you breathe easier.
Boots
Device works good. Gives readings for any area within a few minutes. Also comes with instructions on how to solve the problem.
Parker
Dealing with allergies is such a pain, so decided to get air purifiers in the house. They work well, but my purifiers don't give a clear indication as to when the filters need to be replaced. This air quality monitor is able to pick up when the air quality is dipping, so now I have an easy trigger to remind me to replace my air purifiers' filters. This monitor seems to know before my allergies do, so I'm able to respond before my quality of life is disrupted.
This monitor is great and high quality. The packaging is nice, it's like opening an Apple product. The included guide gives a clear explanation of what each feature on the display means, and how to interpret the numbers. Compact size makes it easy to move from room to room to make sure your entire home has clean air.
Very happy with my purchase, would definitely recommend.
Keith S
The AirKnight is a great deal. I don't normally leave reviews but this product demands it, especially considering I paid 3x for an Awair Element a few months ago and the AirKnight beats it in every category. See attached pic, it speaks for itself. Measurements are provided in an easy to read display which shows the actual levels of each air quality category. The AirKnight also includes formaldehyde HCHO (common in new furniture) and separate readouts for PM2.5 and PM10 (Awair does not).
As far as accuracy goes, each device picks up the same changes in air quality but the AirKnight provides specific readings on the display (Awair shows dots and aggregate score, which is pointless by the way). The AirKnight updates FASTER at about every second and the element every 20 seconds or so.
The AirKnight is easy to set up…just plug it in. I am the type of guy that will pay more for quality, but in this case, I think I got suckered into paying for Awair's marketing campaign. Don't be fooled. Buy an AirKnight.
Judy Y
This is a perfect monitor for us. We have multiple natural gas appliances and fireplace. Compact size, easy to read display and portable, very happy with this purchase.
Azwoman
I chose the AirKnight not knowing exactly what I would receive. But everything about this product is extremely professional and top-notch. It has a very modern and stylish look, super clear screen, and very helpful instructional videos and user manual. You can tell it's a high-quality air quality monitor. I am definitely happy with my choice.
Chris Holscher
I live in California where we have wild fires and it gives me peace of mind that I will know the air quality for our family. I will say the light panel on the Airknight is very nice, I was kind of shocked on how good it looked.
Judith
Glad to have one in my home during the winter wood burning season. Very easy to read, even in the bright daylight. I recommend.
